Welcome to the Lum Elementary School, home of the Lum Bears, on the island city of Alameda, California.

It is the money from donations to the PTA and from your PTA membership dues that pays for:

• computers and technology in the Media Center and in classrooms
• field trips
• library books
• assemblies
• after-school enrichment classes
• supplies to improve Lum’s disaster preparedness
• purchasing additional classroom materials through the teacher wish list

Remember that your donation is tax deductable, and very often employers will have a “donation matching” program that will double your donation.

With your $25 family membership to Lum PTA, your family will be recognized with a sign in the classroom window and you will have access to features on our website, LumPTA.com.
