The Silent Auction is an exciting opportunity to obtain great deals, mingle with other parents, have a bite to eat and enjoy the evening out. In the past, some of the notable items up for auction were a weekend in Tahoe, a fun outing with a teacher, a bird watching session, restaurant certificates, beauty salon gift certificates, a case of wine and a kid’s birthday party for 20 at a popular local party place.

In addition to the fabulous deals from Alameda and other Bay Area businesses, many of the classrooms create a specially themed basket of donated items for auction. Some themes from previous years include, LEGOS, Summer Fun, At the Movies, etc., and included wonderful items such as movie theater passes, health club membership, vacation at a Taho cabin, and gift certificates to many local businesses.
